Dr. Katherine Barteck
Dr. Katherine Barteck (aka “Dr. B”) is the CEO and leader of Willow & Arbor, PLLC. She is a licensed psychologist who has been serving Johnson City and the surrounding area (Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina) since 2014. She holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland and has been trained in both psychotherapy and psychological assessment. Dr. Barteck has worked with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, including residential facilities, primary care, community mental health, in-home care, and private practice. She is experienced in collaborating and working with other professionals including physicians, psychiatrists, lawyers, school systems, and government agencies.
Jodie Henderson
Jodie is a Temporarily Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC-TEMP) with Mental Health Service Provider (MHSP) designation in Tennessee and has two years of experience working with a variety of clients in all phases of life. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and has also completed clinical training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Trauma-focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
Jodie has spent the last nine years experiencing military life with her family travelling around the country. This has given her the opportunity to encounter individuals from all walks of life, and she welcomes all individuals on the path of exploration and healing including children and teens as well as adults. She has a passion for helping others and provides a trusting, non-judgmental and safe space for others to tell their stories, slay their demons, and achieve their goals.






Alynda Worrell-Welch
Alynda is a Tennessee native and graduate of Milligan University’s Master of Science in Counseling program. She understands counseling as a process that helps people grow into fuller, deeper, and healthier ways of engaging with themselves and the world they live in.
Alynda is experienced in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families through depression, anxiety, and significant life changes. She is experienced in multiple therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, narrative therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She strives to meet her clients where they are at and to empower them to meet their own, unique goals.
